MY APPROACH
Low back pain can be a frustrating and challenging experience, especially with persistent and repeated episodes. I use a comprehensive approach which provides in-depth assessment, treatment and education for people who have sustained a low back injury.

I take a rehabilitative approach to low back pain, my purpose is to get you off the table and moving towards your goal and quickly and sustainably as possible. I do not rely on one specific treatment, but a variety of evidence-based and patient-centred options to get you feeling better and stronger than you were before.

I am your clinician, teacher, and coach, and will help guide you on the path to recovery, using manual therapy, educational moments and therapeutic exercise to put the ability to recover back in your hands.

ASSESSMENT:
Good assessment leads to good treatment, and we will leave no stone unturned as we talk through positional aggravators and relievers, psychosocial stressors and your functional goals

TREATMENT:
As a Modern Chiropractor, treatment will always vary and may be different than what people have come to expect with Chiropractic Care. Chiropractic manipulation will be used as a tool to help you get feeling and moving better, not as a requirement of treatment.
I will use passive treatments (manipulation, massage, Graston etc.) as a means to get you feeling well enough to move and get stronger!

EDUCATION:
Education is perhaps the missing link between sustainable low back pain relief and recurrent and persistent pain. My goal will be to teach and guide you through the things that aggravate your low back, troubleshoot ways to avoid these in your daily life and most importantly help you understand your pain system and what it means in your life. Without a learning process, we become "stuck on the table".... and that's not our goal!
